“The Fox on the Fairway,” directed by Paula Ferguson, New Castle Playhouse, 202 E. Long Ave., New Castle, Pa., auditions at 6 p.m. April 10 and 11. Three men and three women are being sought. David Mamet’s “American Buffalo,SDRq directed by Matthew Mazuroski, Youngstown Playhouse, 600 Playhouse Lane, auditions from 6 to 8 p.m. April 11 and 13. The show is the final production in this season’s Griffith-Adler Series. “American Buffalo” deals with three small-time crooks of great ambition and low morals who plan a heist of a valuable coin collection. The director is looking for three men, age late teens to early 50s. All those auditioning should prepare a one- to two-minute monologue and bring a current photograph. All roles are open and will be cast based on color-conscious practices. Performances will be in the Moyer Room from June 10-18.
