• Boar’s Head Group of St. John’s Episcopal Church, 323 Wick Ave., Youngstown, will serve chicken dinners from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church. The meal includes mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, salad, bread and butter, pie and a beverage. The cost is $8. No reservations are necessary. THURSDAY

VFW Col. Louis J. Campbell Post 3538, 157 Lowellville Road, Struthers, will serve spaghetti dinners from 4 to 7 p.m. Meals include meatballs, salad, bread and butter, and coffee. The cost is $7 for adults and $3 for children under 8. Carryout orders are $7.50 and will be available only until 6 p.m. Containers will be provided.

FRIDAY

Canfield Lions Club will have a fish fry from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at A La Cart Catering, 429 Lisbon St., Canfield. Meals include a choice of baked or fried fish; french fries, macaroni and cheese, pirogi or haluski; and coleslaw, green beans, roll, dessert and beverage. The cost is $11. Carryout meals will be available.

Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown, will serve fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the church hall. The menu will consist of baked or fried Icelandic cod or fried haddock; sides of Spanish rice, haluski, macaroni and cheese, french fries or string beans (choose two); coleslaw or applesauce; bread and butter; and coffee or tea. The cost is $11 for adults and $6 for children. Dessert will be an additional $1.75. Containers will be provided for takeouts. Orders will be accepted from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 330-792-1005

VFW Post 9571, 11397 Ellsworth Road, Ellsworth, will host an all-you-can-eat fried fish dinner from 4:30 to 7 p.m. The meal includes french fries, macaroni and cheese, coleslaw and applesauce. Four-piece chicken, chicken fingers or shrimp dinners also are available. Cost is $9. A chicken fingers dinner or fish dinner for seniors is $8.50, and a fish dinner for children under 10 is $5.50. The meals are sold the first and third Fridays of each month.

SATURDAY

VFW Donald Lockett Post 6488 Ladies Auxiliary will host a spaghetti dinner from noon to 6 p.m. at 2065 Coitsville-Hubbard Road, Youngstown. Cost is $7 for adults and $4 for children 10 and under. Takeout is available. For information call 330-746-8259.

Vienna United Methodist Church, 4265 Warren-Sharon Road, will serve a Swiss steak dinner from 4 to 6 p.m. Menu also includes mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, coleslaw, applesauce, bread and butter, beverage and dessert. Takeouts are available. Cost is $9.50 for adults, $5 for children 5 to 12 and free for children 4 and under.

SUNDAY

Immaculate Heart of Mary Knights of Columbus 3930 is sponsoring a pancake and sausage breakfast from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the parish center, 4500 Norquest Blvd,, Austintown. Beverages are included. The cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under.

Martin Luther Lutheran Church, 420 Clearmount Drive, Youngstown, will host a spaghetti dinner fundraiser from noon to 4 p.m. The meal will include meatballs, salad, bread, beverage and dessert. Cost is $8 for adults, $5 for children under 12 and free for children under 3. Takeout is available. Tickets are available in advance from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Friday by calling the church office at 330-788-8707.

Southington American Legion Post will host an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the post home, 3145 Warren-Burton Road. Donations are $7 for adults and $4 for children under 12. Ages 4 and under eat for free. Pancakes and sausage or biscuits and gravy will be served.

St. James the Apostle Church, 4019 Route 422, Pulaski, Pa., will serve a breakfast brunch from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The meal consists of French toast, sweet cheese filling, buttermilk and buckwheat pancakes with maple syrup or apple topping, scrambled eggs plain or with peppers, onions and cheese, home fries, bacon, sausage, ham, toast, cinnamon rolls, hot and cold cereals, coffee, tea, juices and milk. The cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children.

St. Patrick Church, 1410 Oak Hill Ave., Youngstown, will host its monthly Sauce and Songs dinner and concert from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The cost of the dinner is $8 for adults and $5 for children 10 and under. The menu consists of spaghetti, salad, bread, dessert and a beverage. Carryouts are available, and containers will be provided. The concert will feature Hired Hands, the Miller Sisters, from 1:30 to 2:30. Freewill offerings will be accepted for the concert. For information call the church office at 330-743-1109.

VFW Triangle Post 2799, 3161 E. South Range Road, New Springfield, will serve homestyle breakfasts from 8 a.m. to noon. The cost is $6 for adults and $3.50 for children 12 and under. Menu items are eggs, hash browns, sausage or ham, pancakes or freedom toast, toast and coffee or tea.

UPCOMING

Holy Family Parish, 2729 Center Road, Poland, will sell takeout cavatelli dinners with homemade sauce from 2:30 to 6 p.m. or until sold out on April 6. Meal also includes two meatballs, tossed salad, bread and butter, and dessert for $9. A smaller portion of cavatelli and one meatball will cost $5. Pasta fagioli will be sold for $6 a quart and pasta sauce for $5 a quart. Place your order, remain in your car and your dinner will be delivered to you.

Newton Falls Kiwanis Club will host a steak cookout from 4 to 7 p.m. April 16 at Newton Falls United Methodist Church, 336 Ridge Road. The $15 meal will include a 14-ounce grilled sirloin steak that will be cooked to order, salad, potato, corn, beverage and dessert. Presale tickets are available from any Kiwanis member or by calling Tom Palmer at 330-872-1617. The event will benefit the community programs of the Kiwanis. Tickets also will be sold at the door.
