Man faces felony theft charges after Gabriel Brothers incident
BOARDMAN — A Youngstown man is scheduled to appear in court this morning for arraignment in connection with a felony-two robbery charge for an incident at Gabriel Brothers.
A report filed Monday alleges that Terrance Bratton, 23, of Southern Boulevard, fought with employees at the 850 Boardman-Poland Road store during the course of an attempted theft of $100 worth of merchandise.
Bratton reportedly is a former employee of the store.
Store employees told police they tackled Bratton as he attempted to flee with the merchandise; he reportedly fought them, but they detained him until police arrived.
Bratton was taken to the Mahoning County jail and scheduled for an appearance in Mahoning County Area Court here.
