UPDATE | Man charged in 87-year-old man's beating death

YOUNGSTOWN — Julius Williams, 28, has been charged with aggravated murder for the beating death of an 87-year-old man late Monday inside a home in the 300 block of Harvard Street.

The man’s body was found when police were called to the home about 11:30 p.m. Williams, a family member, was taken into custody when police arrived.

Williams is expected to be arraigned Wednesday afternoon in municipal court.
