Golf Scramble planned for July 8

A Veterans’ Outreach golf scramble will begin with a 9 a.m. shotgun start July 8 at the Mahoning Country Club, 710 E. Liberty St.

The cost is $55 per person or $200 per team, and will provide for 18 holes and a cart, a skins game, 50-50 drawing, mulligans, a basket raffle, longest drive and closest to the pin contests, doughnuts and coffee in the morning, hot dogs, beverages and a dinner buffet.

Hole sponsorships are available for $50, $75 or $100.
