Hubbard

The Hubbard Conservation Club, 1760 Wick-Campbell Road, and United Veterans CCW are having a basic pistol class that will qualify students to apply for their Ohio concealed-carry handgun licence. The class will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. today.

Cost is $95, or $180 for couples, and includes all NRA materials, use of target pistols, ammunition and eye and ear protection. Light snacks and lunch also will be provided.

Proceeds will benefit HCC youth-safety education.

Nondenominational service in Lowellville

The Lowellville Rod & Gun Club, 6225 Quarry Road, is hosting a community sunrise non-denominational service at 7 a.m. Sunday.

The event is free and open to the public and will be followed by a breakfast.

The Portage Summit Field and Stream Club, 8504 state Route 224, Deerfield Township, will host intro to shotgun shooting classes at its trap range from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 1 to 5 p.m. April 3.

Gun show

West Middlesex, Pa.

Hidden Valley Sportsmen’s Club, 268 Gilkey Road, will have a gun show from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. next Saturday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 3.

Eastern Ohio Conservation Club, 10366 West Calla Road, is having a free hunter safety class from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 9 and 10.

A light breakfast and lunch will be provided by the club. Limit is 30 students.

The Lowellville Rod & Gun Club, 6225 Quarry Road, will have turkey shoots every Tuesday through April 26.

Shoots start at 7 p.m. Sign up at 6. Shells will be provided at a cost of $2 per shell.
