Alcohol was a factor in rollover crash Thursday at U.S. Route 62

The Ohio State Highway Patrol says alcohol was a factor in a rollover crash Thursday at U.S. Route 62 near Interstate 80 in Hubbard Township.

Semi-truck driver Adam Plaxco, 36, of Warren, Mich. was cited for driving under the influence and failure to control a vehicle.

Plaxco was leaving Truck World truck stop when he hit a utility pole, according to the patrol.

No injuries were reported from the crash.

As of late Friday morning, Ohio Edison was working to repair the utility pole, the patrol said. The I-80 on-ramp and a portion of U.S. Route 62 remained closed.
