West Branch student arrested, accused of making Facebook threat


GOSHEN — Township police arrested a West Branch High School student for posting threats to the school district on Facebook.

According to a police report, on Wednesday evening the department received multiple phone calls in reference to a student making the following threats on Facebook: “I’m going to shoot the school up” and “I’m going to kill everyone.”

Tristan Dugan, age unavailable, faces charges of aggravated menacing and inducing panic. He was taken to Martin P. Joyce Juvenile Justice Center and will be arraigned at 3 p.m. Friday in juvenile court.
