A visit to Rangers 4-H meeting

SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR Western Reserve Rangers 4-H Club met in March and welcomed Mahoning County Junior Leader 4-H Club Adviser Joe Fagnano as guest speaker. Junior Leader 4-H Club President Janelle Benson joined Fagnano to discuss planned activities for 2016, and 4-H State Ambassador Remi Mikan shared her experiences as a member of the group. Western Reserve Rangers members also shared news about educational sessions at Quality Assurance, urged participation on the county’s 4-H Fashion Board, reported about the Zika virus, finalized plans for its community Easter egg hunt, offered details from a Mahoning County Junior Fair Board mixer, and recreation leaders hosted two games. Clothing members Kathleen Moser and Janet Majirsky recently purchased patterns and fabric for their 4-H projects and will cut them out Tuesday at the home of Moser. The next meeting of the Rangers will be at 7 p.m. April 14 at the Ellsworth Fire Hall, 6036 S. Salem-Warren Road, Ellsworth.
