Mill Creek MetroParks commissioner resigns after 3 months on the job

YOUNGSTOWN — Mill Creek MetroParks Park Board Commissioner Michael Senchak has resigned from the voluntary position after less than three months on the board.

The resignation was confirmed today by a release from Mahoning County Probate Judge Robert N. Rusu Jr., the appointing authority for the park board.

Judge Rusu also announced formation of a selection committee to help choose a new commissioner and addressed community concerns over recent leadership decisions by park commissioners and the park director.
