LAFAYETTE, LA. — Louisiana-Lafayette leads Youngstown State, 38-33, at halftime in the semifinals of the Women's Basketball Invitational.

Keke Veal leads the Ragin' Cajuns with 11 points, four rebounds and two assists. Kia Wilridge has 10 points.

Kelsea Newman leads the Penguins with eight points. Indiya Benjamin has six points and five assists. YSU closed the first half by trimming Louisiana-Lafayette's lead from 13 to five.
