Final: Louisiana-Lafayette 69, YSU 49

— Louisiana-Lafayette used a 23-2 second-half run to seize control against Youngstown State on its way to a 69-49 win in a Women's Basketball Invitational semifinal on Wednesday night.

The Ragin' Cajuns will meet either Weber State or USC-Upstate in the tournament championship.

Nikki Arbanas made three 3-pointers to set a YSU record for 3-pointers in a season with 89. Her third of the game cut YSU's deficit to 42-39 with 6:23 left in the third period, but that was the Penguins' final basket of the third period. UL went on a 23-2 run that stretched into the fourth period that put the game out of reach.
