SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR The OH WOW! The Roger and Gloria Jones Children’s Center for Science and Technology recently received a $25,000 donation from the Home Savings Charitable Foundation to be used for an exhibit sponsorship of a Sound and Light WOW! Zone. The exhibit will allow guests to create music on a rhythm machine and pipe organ, dance through the beams of a laser guitar and shout into an echo tube. The new exhibit will fit with the center’s continuing mission to develop learning skills and knowledge for children through interactive exhibits and educational programs rooted in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Bruce Sherman, left, vice chairman of the board of directors for the center, was joined by Frank Hierro, Home Savings Mahoning Valley regional president, and Suzanne Barbati, the center’s executive director, to accept the donation.
