The annual Passion play “Your Masterpiece” will be presented at 7 p.m. Friday and March 26 and 27 at Rising Star Baptist Church, 2943 Wardle Ave. Doors open at 6 p.m.
Admission is free, but there will be free-will offerings collected each night.

The Total Praise Choir of Alpha and Omega First Baptist Church, 3120 Winton Ave., will host the annual musical at 4 p.m. Sunday on the theme, “Awesome Praise.
It will feature choirs, soloists and musicians from the Valley.

‘Countdown to Calvary’ service

Beulah Baptist Church, 570 Sherwood Ave., will host a Good Friday service, “Countdown to Calvary,” at 7 p.m.
Seven speakers will focus on the last seven words of Christ.
Speakers will be the Rev. Kenneth Harvey of Third Baptist Church; minister Eboni Bogon of New Beginnings Outreach; Pastor Dave Holbrook of Church of the Holy Spirit; minister Yolanda Gabriel of Oak Baptist Church; Pastor Cameron Bowman of The Fresh Church; assistant Pastor Walter Gillespie of Mount Sinai Church; and Pastor Larry McCollough of World Fellowship Baptist Church.
On Good Friday

Christian Bible Baptist Church, 2369 Oak St. Ext., will offer a Good Friday service at 6 p.m. on “Seven Sayings of Christ.”
Speakers will be ministers David Bryant, Dave Dunleavy, Anthony Madison and Jake Giuriceo and Deacons Jeremy Potter, Matthew Nelms and Elmer Luke.
Poland churches
POLAND
Poland community churches will observe Good Friday with a noon worship service at Holy Family Parish, 2729 Center Road, focusing on the “Seven Last Words of Christ.”
Congregations participating are Holy Family, Prince of Peace Lutheran, Heritage Presbyterian, Church of the Rock, Poland Presbyterian, and Poland United Methodist.
‘Seven Steps’
YOUNGSTOWN
The choir of Antioch Baptist Church, 110 Funston St., will present its annual “Seven Steps to the Cross” at 4 p.m. Sunday.
Speakers are from Union, Elizabeth, Oak Baptist, Tabernacle, Greater Friendship and St. James Church of God in Christ churches.
Community service observes Holy Week
BOARDMAN
The Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance of Youngstown & Vicinity will conduct a community worship service in observance of Holy Week at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Good Hope Lutheran Church, 98 Homestead Drive, with the Rev. Robert Quaintance, host pastor.
Messengers for the service will be the Rev. Gayle Cantinella, rector of St. John’s Episcopal Church, and the Rev. Kenneth Simon, pastor of New Bethel Baptist Church, both Youngstown.
Special music will be rendered by Pastor John Luke Shumpert and the Emancipation Community Choir.
A portion of the offering from the service will be donated to the Youngstown Connection to help underwrite its performance in Rome. Elder Cynthia Wright Palmer is program chairwoman and the Rev. Dr. Lewis W. Macklin II, IMA president.
