Reservations are being accepted for the 46th annual Salem Historical Society Founders’ Day celebration April 26 at the Salem Community Center, 1098 N. Ellsworth Ave.
The event is open to the public.
Doors will open at 5 p.m., and the buffet dinner will be served at 6. Tickets are $25 per person.
Tania Pshsniak Grubbs, a 1984 graduate of Salem High School, will provide the musical entertainment for the evening.
She is co-music director at Fairmont Pittsburgh and music director for Mansions on Fifth Hotel, and has been a featured vocalist with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and the Butler Jazz Society.
Janice G. Lesher and Frank A. Zamarelli Jr. will be honored as the 2016 Citizens of Honor for their contributions to the city of Salem.
There also will be a basket auction and 50-50 raffle.
