The Leetonia Sportsmen’s Club, 311 E. High St., is co-sponsoring a coyote seminar and hunt.
Jorden Susewitz, owner of one of Michigan’s top predator calling competitions, The Extreme Predator Hunt, will speak.
The seminar will begin at 7 p.m. today. The contest will begin at 12:01 a.m. April 1 and will close at 6 p.m. April 3.
Cost for the seminar is $10 at the door, and free for children 15 and younger when accompanied by a paying adult. The hunt, which will consist of two-person teams, is $30 per team and must be paid by 8 p.m. March 31.

Concealed carry
Hubbard
The Hubbard Conservation Club, 1760 Wick-Campbell Road, and United Veterans CCW are having a basic pistol class that will qualify students to apply for their Ohio concealed-carry handgun licence. The class will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. next Saturday.
Cost is $95, or $180 for couples, and includes all NRA materials, use of target pistols, ammunition and eye and ear protection. Light snacks and lunch also will be provided.
Proceeds will benefit HCC youth-safety education.

Eastern Ohio Conservation Club, 10366 West Calla Road, is having a free hunter safety class from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 9 and 10.
A light breakfast and lunch will be provided by the club. Limit is 30 students.
