Youngstown CityScape kicks off 2016 volunteer drive

YOUNGSTOWN — Youngstown CityScape, an organization dedicated to city revitalization and development, invited volunteers and donors to the fifth floor of the Commerce Building at 8 a.m. today to kick off its volunteer drive for Streetscape.

The breakfast event, "Youngstown: This Bud's For You" honored the many community members who dedicated their time and money to help fund and provide for the Streetscape, which revitalizes and beautifies Youngstown.

Sharon Letson, executive director of the organization, announced the addition of two updates of a new location at Crandall Park on the city's North Side and the new 230 volunteers provided by a partnership with the Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership Program hosted by Youngstown State University.
