‘Easter Mysteries’ at Tinseltown

“Easter Mysteries,” an original musical theater depiction of the Easter story featuring veteran Broadway actors and singers, is coming to select U.S. theaters – including Tinseltown in Boardman – for a special one-night presentation on Tuesday at 7 p.m. Presented by Fathom Events and SimonSays Entertainment, the unique family-friendly event is produced by the creative team that created the Tony-Award winning Broadway hit “A Gentleman’s Guide to Love & Murder.”

Simply Slavic fest is seeking vendors

Organizers of the sixth annual Simply Slavic festival June 18 on East Federal Street, downtown, are seeking authentic Slavic retail, craft, fine art and food vendors for its marketplace and food tents. There is space for 15 food vendors ($125 apiece) and 10 marketplace booths ($50).

Women artists exhibit at JCC

YOUNGSTOWN

An exhibition featuring work by five local female artists – Carol Gallo, Tazim Jaffer, Jody Nudell, Joy White and Blanch Weiss – will open April 7 at the Jewish Community Center, 505 Gypsy Lane, with a reception from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

The evening will include a performance by cellist Inbal Segev, who will be in town to perform with the Youngstown Symphony Orchestra. Tickets can be purchased for $10 by April 4 ($15 afterward) at jccyoungstown.org or at the JCC.
