Boardman boys track sets new record

The Boardman boys 4x200 meter relay team of junior Koby Adu-Poku, sophomore Justice Jama, freshman Manny Perez and senior Brendon Lucas set a new Boardman High School indoor track record recently at The University of Akron with a time of 1:34.83, besting the previous mark set in 2011 by .97 seconds.

Spring sports will soon begin and Neighbors wants to be there every step of the way. If you’re a sports coach or the parent of an athlete, we need your help. In order to get teams and players the recognition they deserve, we want to showcase them in our pages. We can only do that if you commit to sending us game reports and photos each week. If you send it, it will get in.
