Easterfest event will include food, crafts

NEW CASTLE, PA.

Mary, Mother of Hope Parish, 124 N. Beaver St., will host an Easterfest from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in the parish center. Items for sale will include a Polish platter, haluski, stuffed cabbage, pirogi, kielbasa and sauerkraut, hot dogs and french fries. Stuffed cabbage, potato pirogi and jalapeno pirogi by the dozen and haluski, wedding soup and stuffed pepper soup by the quart will be ready to take home from the event.

Easter crafts, treats, novelties and gifts also will be sold, and activities will include a basket raffle and 50-50.
