Youngstown man suffers finger, leg injuries in overnight shooting


YOUNGSTOWN — A man was wounded in the leg and had a finger tip blown off about 10:20 p.m. Tuesday after a house in the 700 block of Palmer Avenue was shot up.

Reports said the the 26-year-old victim and another man were watching television when someone fired several shots at the home.

The victim was hit as he tried to run away. An ankle bracelet he was wearing for house arrest was also hit, reports said.

He was taken to St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital.
