Babbaro to sing at benefit show at PlayhouseSFlb

YOUNGSTOWN

Angelo Babbaro, the Sinatra-style singer, will headline two concerts at the Youngstown Playhouse on April 3.

The Canfield resident will be backed by the Youngstown All-Star Band, led by Tom Ruggieri in the shows, which will be at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Proceeds will benefit the Rich Center for Autism.

Babbaro, who is one of the stars of Sandy Hackett’s Rat Pack Show, a touring production, will be joined by several other vocalists, including Cassie Mosure-Oles, Judy Castronova and Rachel Ruggieri. Dennis Colla, a long time Playhouse favorite, will be featured in the concerts, and WKBN-AM 570 radio personality Ron Verb will serve as emcee.

Refreshments, raffles and an art exhibit in the theater’s community room are included in the ticket price.

Tickets are $30 ($25 for four or more), and can be purchased by phone at 330-788-8739 or at the theater box office between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
