SUPER TUESDAY | O'Brien leads Rock in Democratic primary Ohio Senate race

WARREN — State Rep. Sean J. O'Brien is enjoying a strong lead over Kristen F. Rock of Liberty in the Democratic primary for the 32nd Ohio Senate District.

O'Brien of Bazetta is beating Rock two-to-one in Trumbull County with about 12 percent of precincts reporting. Trumbull is two-thirds of the Senate district. He's also winning in Ashtabula County among early voters.

The winner replaces Capri Cafaro, a Democrat from Liberty. Cafaro and members of her family gave campaign contributions to Rock.

In the Democratic primary in the 63rd Ohio House District to succeed O'Brien, McDonald Mayor Glenn Holmes is up 19 percentage points over Hubbard Councilman Benjamin Kyle.
