SUPER TUESDAY | Austintown levy renewals up in absentee votes

AUSTINTOWN

Absentee voters strongly supported all three township levies that are up for renewal.

Early results released by the Mahoning County Board of Elections show that 70 percent of absentee votes were in favor of the 1.5-mill renewal road levy, 61 percent supported renewal of a 0.8-mill park levy, and 70 percent voted for a 0.5-mill senior citizen service renewal levy.

Results from non-absentee ballots have not yet been released.
