Services set Friday for YSU Trustee James B. Greene, 74

BOARDMAN — A memorial service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday at the Boardman Branch of the YMCA on McClurg Road for James B. Greene of Canfield, 74, a member of Youngstown State University’s trustee board.

Greene died Sunday in St. Elizabeth Boardman Hospital after a lengthy illness.

Gov. John Kasich appointed Greene to the YSU trustee board in 2012. His term was to expire in 2021. He also previously was president of the Penguin Club at YSU.

Greene is a retired executive from Compco Industries.

Arrangements are by Rossi Bros. and Lellio Funeral Home in Boardman.
