VIENNA

Billionaire Donald Trump, the Republican presidential front-runner, will have a campaign rally at Winner Aviation in Vienna today.

That means three presidential candidates – Trump, Ohio Gov. John Kasich and U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont – will be campaigning today in the Mahoning Valley.

Trump’s campaign canceled an event at Trump National Doral, a luxury hotel near Miami, Fla., and replaced it with a rally at Winner, located at the Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport, 1453 Youngstown-Kingsville Road NE in Vienna.

The event is to start at 6 p.m. according to an email from his campaign and his website.

The rescheduling happened so quickly that tickets for the Mahoning Valley event were not available at the time of the announcement Sunday.

Those wanting to go can obtain tickets today at: http://www.donaldjtrump.com/schedule.

Trump is starting today with a rally in Hickory, N.C., followed by a town hall in Tampa, Fla., and ending with the Mahoning Valley event.

An email from his campaign states: “The event at Trump National Doral, originally scheduled for Monday evening, has been postponed. Mr. Trump will host a massive rally in Youngstown, Ohio. If we are successful on Election Day, we will do a celebration at Doral after the election.”

The campaign actually means Tuesday’s primaries in Ohio, Florida, North Carolina and Illinois.

Polls show a close race in Ohio for the Republican primary between Trump and Kasich, the state’s governor. The Republican primary is a winner-take-all when it comes to the state’s 66 GOP delegates.

Kasich, who has said he’d get out of the presidential race if he fails to win Ohio, has been campaigning throughout Ohio this past week with a rally Sunday at the Spread Eagle Tavern and Inn in Hanoverton, and a town-hall today at Brilex Industries Inc. in Youngstown.

Mitt Romney, 2012 Republican presidential nominee, is expected to join Kasich in campaign appearances elsewhere in Ohio after the event in Youngstown today.

Hillary Clinton, the Democratic presidential front-runner, had an event Saturday evening at M7 Technologies that drew about 500 people.

Sanders, the other Democratic presidential candidate, is having an 11 a.m. Rally Monday at the Covelli Centre in Youngstown.

Winner Aviation has been a hot spot for Republican presidential and vice presidential candidates over the years.

Paul Ryan, the 2012 GOP vice presidential candidate, spoke there on Nov. 5, 2012, the day before he and Mitt Romney, the presidential candidate, lost that election.

On Sept. 16, 2008, John McCain and Sarah Palin, the party’s failed presidential and vice presidential nominees, campaigned at Winner Aviation.

On Oct. 27, 2004, seven days before he was re-elected, President George W. Bush had a rally there.
