Boardman police investigating business break-in

BOARDMAN — A RL Best employee reported a break-in at his place of business, 723 Bev Road, on Sunday afternoon, according to a police report.

The employee stated he found the rear main door pried open and bent. Upon checking inside with three officers, they reportedly found three vending machines pried open, damaged and missing money from torn-out coin boxes.

Several brass fittings were reported as possibly missing, and some items such as blueprints and other brass fittings were thrown to the ground.

The security video from the parking lot and interior is available, and an investigation is underway.
