All quiet at Youngstown East High School this morning

YOUNGSTOWN — All is quiet this morning at East High School, the site of several fights among students last week that brought police to the school.

Several students were led away in handcuffs after the tussles broke about 11 a.m. March 8.

Stephen Stohla, interim superintendent, said the freshmen and sophomores returned to school this morning to instruction in conflict resolution.

Their regular class schedules will resume this afternoon.

Late last week, seniors and then juniors returned to the school, beginning their days with conflict resolution instruction followed by tutoring for the Ohio Graduation Test. Test administration began today.
