The Vindicator will run a free listing of area services that are open to the public in observance of Palm Sunday, March 20; Holy Thursday, March 24; Good Friday, March 25; Holy Saturday, March 26; and Easter Sunday, March 27.
The deadline to submit information is 5 p.m. Wednesday. Publication will be next Saturday.
Information should include the denomination and name of the church, address, city or suburb, the day, time, type of service, your name and a phone number for verification.

First Friday Club

Richard Krivanka will be the featured speaker when the First Friday Club of Greater Youngstown meets April 7 at Antone’s Banquet Centre, 8578 Market St.
He is executive director of the Jesuit Retreat House.
His topic will be “Reflections on Life, Leadership, and Ignation Spirituality.”

Seminar for clergy
HERMITAGE, PA.
St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, 159 Todd Ave., will sponsor a two-day seminar, “Emotional and Spiritual Care in Disasters,“ scheduled May 23 and 24 at the Hermitage Fire Station, Maple Drive.
Retired Air Force Chaplain Edgar Hatcher will teach the class created by the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation.
The course materials recently were revised and updated.

Christ in Passover

Jesus’ Last Supper was a Jewish Passover. Stewart Weinisch of Jews for Jesus will recreate the traditional Passover service and explain how it foreshadowed Jesus’ death and resurrection in a presentation called “Christ in the Passover” at 5 p.m. next Saturday at Four Mile Run Christian Church, 701 N. Four Mile Run Road.
Weinisch will set a table with items traditionally used at the Passover meal and detail their spiritual significance. He will explain the connection between the events of the first Passover in Egypt and the redemption that Jesus accomplished and discuss the bond between the ancient Passover feast and the Christian communion celebration today.
Also available will be a DVD of the Christ in the Passover presentation with David Brickner, executive director of Jews for Jesus, officiating.

Concert at church

The Anchormen will be in concert at 6 p.m. March 20 at North Lima Mennonite Church, 90 Mennonite Drive.
The quartet, founded in 1979, sings Gospel music.
