CANTON

“Day of Reflection” is the theme of a men’s retreat planned from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. next Saturday at St. Benedict Church, 2207 Third St. SE. Speakers will be Richard Lane, who focuses on evangelization, and the Rev. Donald Feicht, a chaplain at Mercy Hospital in Canton, who is featured in “Faith with Father” on Living Bread Radio. Gospel choir

YOUNGSTOWN

The Gospel Choir of Antioch Baptist Church, 110 Funston St., will present “Seven Steps to the Cross” at 4 p.m. March 20. Speakers will be ministers Patricia Kimbrough, Allan Izirrary-Graves, Yolanda Clark, Rhonda Ware, Cleveland Burton and Jim Little and Elder Kevin Davis.

New ministry

WARREN

Grace African Methodist Episcopal Church, 1137 Main Ave. SW, will conduct a dedication ceremony Sunday for the church’s new handicap accessible mini-bus.

Minnie Canty, a centenarian church member, will be the first official church member to board the mini-bus, which will be available to pick up individuals from assisting living facilities and others who lack transportation.

The church service will begin at 10:45 a.m. The Rev. John H. McCants Jr. will conduct the dedication service that will be followed by refreshments. Individuals who wish to request a ride must call the church office, 330-394-6270, by Wednesday of each week.

Mission Day

YOUNGSTOWN

The Mission Caring Ministry at Phillips Memorial Missionary Baptist Church, 1407 Victor Ave., will sponsor the annual Mission Day program at noon March 21. A luncheon will follow the service.
