Learning Dog event to benefit police dogs

The Learning Dog, 757 N. Main St., is raising money to benefit police dogs in Sharon.

The Hubbard business will host a basket raffle from 6 to 8 p.m. March 19. Food will also be available for purchase. All proceeds will benefit the Sharon Police Department’s canine fund. The goal is to purchase two bulletproof vests at $2,500 each.

Additionally, checks may be made payable to “Sharon Police K9 Fund” and mailed to the Sharon Police Department (Attn: K9 Fund) at 155 W. Connelly Blvd., Sharon, PA 16146. The check’s memo should read “K9 vest.”
