Phantoms Youth Hockey Association attended tournament

The Phantoms Youth Hockey Association recently attended a tournament. All divisions were named after current USHL Phantom Players and who were on site to present awards.
Teams also competed for championships in the Pittsburgh Area Hockey League (PAHL) Championships this weekend.
The tournament was a huge success bringing 26 hockey teams with more than 300 hockey players to the area. There were a total of 449 goals scored in the 98 games played.
The Phantoms Youth Hockey Association would like to thank the Ice Zone, the Covelli Centre and the Mahoning County Convention and Visitors Board for assisting with this event.
In the D’Austine Division, the following teams placed: Pittsburgh Jets (first), RMU Raptors (second), Beaver Valley Bagders (third) and Lawrence County Lightning (fourth). Miller Division placements were Dayton Stealth White (first), RMU Wolverines (second), Mt. Lebanon Hornets (third) and South Hills Panthers (fourth). Morrison Division: Cambria Warriors (first), Beaver Valley Badgers (second), Lawrence County Lightning (third) and Butler Valley Dawgs (fourth). Hirano Division: Lawrence County Lightning (first), Mt. Lebanon Hornets (second), Dayton Stealth Red (third) and Johnstown Warriors (fourth). Pearson Division: Butler Valley Dawgs (first), Lawrence County Lightning (second), Dayton Stealth Gray (third) and Youngtown Phantoms (fourth).
The Squirts ended the season on a 10 game winning streak to claim the Open Division Season Ending Championship in the PAHL Squirt A Division McDonnald Division. The Squirt Team defeated Southpointe 4-2, the Fayette Ice Minors 5-1 and State College 3-2.
The Pee Wee Team won its season championship with a record of 16-2-2. Bantoms took second place in their division with a record of 15-3-2. The U18 Team Won the regular season and tournament championship with a record of 15-4-1.
