Newsboys, Willis Clan to perform at Canfield Fair

CANFIELD

The Canfield Fair has announced two of its grandstand acts.

Christian rock band Newsboys and the Willis Clan will perform on Sept. 4, which will be Faith and Family Day at the fair.

Ticket information, including prices and on-sale date, have not yet been set, said Bev Fisher, fair director. Those details should be released in mid-April. Tickets can be purchased at canfieldfair.com when they go on sale.

“Faith and Family Day went over so well last year when we had Mercy Me, so we want to get the information for this year out as soon as possible,” said Fisher, explaining why the announcement was made so early this year.

Fisher said the fair will announce the other grandstand concerts “probably within the next two weeks.”

The Willis Clan performed at the fair in 2014 and were very popular with the crowd, said Fisher. Newsboys last visited the Mahoning Valley in November 2014, when the band performed at Stambaugh Auditorium in Youngstown.
