Thursday: The Warren JFK graduate shot a 74 in the first round of the Valspar Championship, finishing 3-over par and in a tie for 83rd with 20 other golfers including Padraig Harrington, Graeme McDowell, Stewart Cink and K.J. Choi. Kokrak had two birdies, five bogeys and 11 pars.

Today: Kokrak tees off at 6:50 a.m. on No. 10. His playing partners are Scott Brown and Ricky Barnes.
