Terry Wittenauer and Joy Bucci had Valentine’s Day parties for their classes on Feb. 10. Wittenauer’s class took turns putting valentines treats in each others boxes that they made after having their Valentine’s Day party snacks.
Bucci’s class of 4- and 5-year-olds played a game of pass the heart around.
The students took turns passing a heart around during a song and when the song stopped, whoever was holding the heart got to sit in the middle of the circle.
On Feb. 11, Bucci’s class of 3-year-olds had its Valentine’s Day party, along with Samantha Cox’s class.
Bucci’s students also played the game of pass the heart around. Both of her classes wore hats made out of Valentine’s Day paper plates with a heart cut out of the middle.
