Trump sign swiped in Boardman

A township man gave chase Wednesday after an unknown suspect reportedly stole a Donald Trump political sign from his yard.

The Simon Road resident reported to police that he observed a silver Oldsmobile Alero park in front of his house, then saw a man get out and grab the sign.

The victim tried to chase the suspect, according to a police report, but the suspect got away  with a female driver. 

The incident is under investigation.
