Chevy Cruze cruises well in Mahoning Valley

YOUNGSTOWN — The Lordstown-built Chevrolet Cruze was a top seller in the Mahoning Valley in February.

The compact car was the second-best new seller with 156 sales – falling slightly behind the Chevrolet Silverado’s 162 sales, according to data compiled by the Greater Cleveland Automobile Dealers’ Association.

The Cruze was the best-selling used vehicle with 64 sales.

Total new- and used-vehicle sales for the month went up from 3,537 sales to 3,993 sales.

Sales for the year so far are up by 267 over last year.

The data comes from auto titles processed by county title departments by the final business day each month.
