BCA awards ceremony is set for Monday

The Boardman Civic Association will honor individuals and organizations during its annual community service awards dinner at 6 p.m. Monday at the Lariccia Family Community Center in Boardman Park, 375 Boardman-Poland Road.

Dinner will be served at 6:30, and the program will follow at 7.

During the event John and Denise DeBartolo York will be honored as citizens of the year; Dearing Compressor and Pump Co., new building award; Huntington Plaza, H DiRienzo Properties, refurbished/remodeled building award; Boardman library and Spartan Stadium, special building awards; and Doug Sweeney, business person of the year.

Cost is $15; seating is limited, and reservations are required to Denise Leson at 330-743-1171.
