Youngstown police find ammunition and weapons

YOUNGSTOWN

Police found 39 boxes of .223-caliber ammunition Tuesday while serving a search warrant about 5:20 p.m.

Also found in the 944 E. Indianola Ave. was a loaded 9mm Luger, a bullet proof vest, a .12-gauge shotgun with 36 live shotgun rounds and six 9mm rounds.

Some assault rifles use .223-caliber ammunition.

One person was arrested on a warrant and another person was arrested on drug charges.
