MSWCD fish sale under way, ends April 22

The Mahoning Soil and Water Conservation District, 850 Industrial Road, will host a spring fish sale through April 22.
Fathead minnows will be sold 100 for $7; 8- to 12-inch white amur will be $15 each; 2-to-3-inch bass, 4-to-5-inch channel cat, 2-to-4-inch crappies and shell crackers are 85 cents each; 2-to-4-inch bluegill and 4-to-5-inch yellow perch are 80 cents each; and 6-to-8-inch Japanese koi for decorative ponds will be $13 each.
Pickup will be 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. April 26 at the Canfield Fairgrounds.
Restrictions apply for out-of-state residents; refer to the notice posted on the MSWCD website or call the office. Take a lined container filled with your own pond water on the pickup day; five to 10 gallons of water per 100 fish is required.
White amur must be placed in a container with a lid or liner large enough to be tied at the top, and there can only be two white amur to each five gallons of water.
