Student driver crashes into Canfield school bus, police say

CANFIELD

A high-school student driver crashed into the back of a Canfield Local School bus early this morning.

Chief of Police Chuck Colucci said bus driver not at fault. Aseel Abdul Hakeem Ahmad, 16, of Canfield, rear-ended an elementary school bus when she lost control. Canfield Local School District administrators contacted police immediately.

None of the nine students on the bus were injured. Officers cited the teenager for not having assured cleared distance.
