Polish Club of Youngstown hosts Sunday event at Butler

YOUNGSTOWN — The Polish Arts Club of Youngstown will host its 80th annual arts and tea reception from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Butler Institute of American Art, 524 Wick Ave. The program is free and open to the public.

The program, “A Toast of Tea to 80,” will consist of an art exhibition, a lecture, a musical performance, and a presentation of the organization’s annual scholarships to several university students.

The Polish Arts Club was established in 1935 by local educator Florence Turowski. The club is dedicated to perpetuating and promoting the art and culture of Poland.
