• Primetime Tri-Gold Chapter of American Business Women’s Association will announce the chapter woman of the year when it meets Wednesday at A La Cart Catering in Canfield. • Altrusa Club of Youngstown will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday at Birch Hill Cabin in Mill Creek Park. • Metaphysical Insights 528 will present a program Wednesday at the S.C.O.P.E. building, 220 W. Market St., Warren. • Youngstown Mothers of Twins Club will meet at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Magic Tree Restaurant in Boardman. The program will be a “Seasoned Mothers of Twins” panel, which will include Phyllis Miller, Betsy Pallo and Sue Brandenstein. They will share experiences and give advice on raising twins to benefit the mothers of younger multiples. • Transcendental Interest Group will meet at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in the north lounge at Park Vista, 1310 Fifth Ave., Youngstown. The work of John O’Donohue, an Irish author, poet and priest for 21 years, will be the focus of a documentary and discussion. • Youngstown Area Weavers Guild will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Colonial Inn at the Canfield Fairgrounds. There will be a demonstration on clasp weft rag rugs by Mary Ann Gasper. A loom will be threaded for members to try the technique. Take a sack lunch and mug for show-and-tell. The guild’s special interest group will meet afterward to continue working on their inkle looms.
