Fraudulent bank accounts: Police investigated reports of fraudulent bank accounts being opened at a home on Hilltop Drive.

Passing bad checks: Police arrested Keith Mitchell, 47, of Orrin Avenue, Youngstown, on charges of passing bad checks.

Drug abuse: Police arrested John Pettiford, 29, of Cassius Avenue, Youngstown, on charges of drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia, and Tinika Ellis, 26, of Kist Place, Youngstown, on a warrant for failure to appear.

Warrant: Police arrested Larry Sudberry, 18, of Canfield Road on a warrant for failure to appear on traffic charges.

Drug abuse: Police arrested Carson Pope, 27, of Lockwood Boulevard, Boardman, on a charge of drug abuse.
