Vienna man charged with attempted burglary in Girard
GIRARD — A Vienna man was arraigned today in Girard Municipal Court on a felony attempted burglary charge.
Police say Nickolas Ralston, 39, attempted to break into an East Prospect Street home early Wednesday morning.
According to a police report, a woman said Ralston came to her residence and broke the windowpane of a door after she refused to let him in, a police report states.
The report notes that Ralston’s right hand was bleeding. He told officers he punched the window because he was angry and had too much to drink, but that he did not mean to break it, according to the report.
Ralston’s case is set for a preliminary hearing at 1:30 p.m. next Wednesday.
