Former STEAM Academy member sentenced for assault

WARREN

Marcus Crum, a former staff member at the STEAM Academy on Elm Road, who slammed a girl, 11, into a door at the school Oct. 22, pleaded no contest today to assault.

Crum, 39, of Warren, was sentenced to 15 days in an alternative sentencing program and 80 hours of community service.

The hearing was held in Warren Municipal Court.
