Liberty man arrested with stolen gun in car

LIBERTY — A man faces charges illegal possession of a firearm, receiving stolen property and carrying a concealed weapon after an arrest Monday afternoon near Oakland Drive.

Police searched a car in which William Black, 20, of Youngstown was a passenger and found a handgun that had been reported stolen out of Youngstown, according to a police report. Black was transported to the Trumbull County Jail.
