Hubbard teen arrested on drug charges

HUBBARD — A traffic stop early Monday morning led to charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia being filed against a city man.

An officer stopped a car near Oak Knoll Drive for failure to stop at a stop sign and found a small amount of suspected marijuana and a pipe and grinder, according to a police report.

A passenger, Nicholas Battaglia, 18, of Hubbard said the items were his. Battaglia was released from the scene and will be arraigned March 8 on minor misdemeanor charges.
