Salt Springs Road ramp reopened

WEATHERSFIELD — The entrance ramp from Salt Springs Road to Interstate 80 eastbound has been reopened, the Ohio Department of Transportation has announced.

The ramp from state Route 11 northbound to Interstate 80 westbound remains closed though early August for bridge construction. The detour is Mahoning Avenue to state Route 46 north to Interstate 80 westbound.

Interstate 80 eastbound and westbound between state Route 193 and U.S. Route 422 has various nightly lane restrictions between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. for road widening.

This work is part of the $91.5 million project to widen Interstate 80 between state Routes 11 and 193, which is scheduled for completion by late July 2018.
