League of Women Voters installs new officers
SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR The League of Women Voters of Trumbull County installed their 2016-17 officers at their May meeting. In back are Sue Smith, director; Peggy Boyd, first vice president; Alice Cosgrove, second vice president; and Terri Crabbs, director. Mary Hoke and Sandy Mahaffey also are directors. The league is a nonpartisan organization inviting all women to join them in educating themselves in local and national government issues and policies. They work to increase understanding of major public policy issues and influence public policy through education and advocacy.
